Prelude:
'The greatest challenge and complexity with love is understanding its simplicity.', Vrinda's perception.
'You simply love someone and there is no challenge or complexity with it.', Madhav's belief.
Do you remember where we were?
Let me give you a holistic view of the above question.
The roles which we are playing right now; maybe totally different from the roles which we play tomorrow.
Scene 1: Heer ka Ranjha
'You lose nothing! Until you want to lose something.'
'Business makes your money multiply, but for business to multiply your money; its your vigorous efforts to connect your idea machine to spill out desired money.'
'There is nothing artificial about your intelligence. So the rising use of AI is in a way limited, which is contradictory to the intelligence of the creator of AI.'
'Your product must be sustainable, good for future generation and at the same time it shouldn't harm your customers pocket.'
'I love traveling. It reveals the new sprint within to know things, places, people which are unknown to eyes but known to heart.'
Those were few thoughts shared by Madhav in his recent interview for a famed business magazine. Which is evident that this guy is on his way climbing mountains of business to lead and tear apart the horizon to mark his space. Usually when you are busy with something, you aren't ignoring other things but you are focusing on something. Forgetting what time of day it is and how many dates have crossed on the calendar.
Between all this going on day and night, working on different projects, client meetings, emails, product design, ideas to ponder upon, solving issues, boosting all levels of employees; between everything it seemed there is no time for love. All that was he surrounded by was work. A shallowness to be filled by a touch, a glance or maybe a dance was waiting on the other end.
Who knows where these lose ends tied up with.
On a day like today, Madhav got a chance to see his Insta account. With huge list of followers scrolling down a face struck his chords of heart.
Guess what next?
He continued scrolling.
We usually do the scrolling part.
Ignoring many things and focusing very few.
Hope you have find some interesting view.
Scene 2: Romeo ki Juliet
Radiating smile on face while dreaming.
Stretching arms wide as possible.
Wake-up like dawn.
Now not the struggle but the fun begins.
Usually late for internship, though very convincing for the reason of delay.
A working class luminary.
Designer by passion.
Wanted to be an architect by profession.
Dance was her favorite stress-buster.
Working for social cause was her interest.
This was her everyday story, wake-up from an interrupted dreams (especially from disturbing alarms) always stand in front of her wardrobe just to select which pair of clothes should she wear for the day. The standing and staring would last for at least ten to fifteen minutes. Maybe she discovered a magical land of Vrinda; certainly not Narnia.
A good old friend once said, 'lost are the ones who cannot find a reason to smile once in an entire day of life!.'
Well she herself was the reason of smile for everyone, be it anyone she comes in touch with. The fire which glows in dark just as sun.
Applied for her architecture internship abroad. Which was in itself an adventure for her to go abroad all alone in a never visited country (by the way she have hardly explored her country so far and recently got her passport for internship application). The duration of internship was for a year but she was all set to spend more than a year. A little more explanation on her planning, that it was all planned, or i can say in her mind but nothing evident. Maybe still in dreams.
A call from mom and the reality appears.
"Why am i inside my wardrobe??" A sparking question reminding that she is almost late for not so good internship currently at Southern most part of once called Seven Island City aka Mumbai.
Scene 3: Safar ka suffer
What happens if your dream of being on airplane window seat....breaks??
Definitely that would be english wala suffer. Plus it was your first time airplane journey. There would be so many such once in a lifetime experiences which we might never forget.
Do you remember the first crawl on earth? (I know you might say, 'wish i could!')
The first walk and sometimes it was like drunken walk (definitely milk!), do you remember?
Do you remember the first ride of cycle with no training wheels, where dad used to just run behind saying, 'Do not turn back! Your life is ahead. Keep pedaling i am there for you.' Well in fact dad used to be a great moral support of cycling in each one of our life. When you realize that dad was far behind you.....whaam!!! That was a crash landing!
Okay back to the remembering part. What next?
Do you remember the taste of medicine which was dissolved in spoonful of water? Yuck!!
The childhood crush? (I can see you blushing! hehe!!)
First time school bunking? The first day of college? Thought it was M, W, F class schedule. But first day was on a Thursday. Sat outside the class for good 30 minutes scratching head, wondering where the hell are all other students?? First time driving....a stick shift?
The first drink? (of course a hard-drink) Which was a worst experience for me! The first bungee jumping, snorkeling, sky diving, etc.
Do you remember? I bet you do.
So now that Vrinda got her Visa and her flight tickets booked. She was already there at her destination before reaching. So engrossed with her packing luggage that she hardly noticed of her seat position. There are many flyers you might observe at airport. Some going for studies to brighten up their fortune, some for business (ya the working class slave), some for honeymoon, some for traveling and there are some like Vrinda who believes that it is now or never. In her case you can sum up all the 'some' going abroad.
After all the procession of whole family and friends left the airport came to goodbye her, she completed the checking stage and got into her flight. Shocked with the seat pointed out by air crew member she couldn't believe that it was not a window seat!!
Well the Hindi wala Safar came to an end. She begged the air crew to give her window seat but you know how polite they are. The staff refused to accept the child like behaviour of Vrinda for the seat.
By the way...(this is a very strong word to drag attention....atleast while chatting)...guess what? Who was on her desired window seat?
Vrinda just had a look at the guy and she was like,'OMG! Why such a handsome guy? Why interested in snatching my seat?'
This was the moment where you actually live. When you feel like you are in space. Nothing else around you and nothing else matters to you. This was the moment of eye contact.
Oftentimes you find love where you least expect it.
Sometimes it takes you where you never expected to go.
The very next moment she was at his feet. Begging for the seat. Full on dramebaaz. In such situation we may expect a reaction to such action of Vrinda. Surprisingly it was equally opposite of expectation.
The reply was, 'Tathastu balike!'.
Listening to the response it was nectar to her ears and she could feel the blessed tune we used come across during happy moments of any hindi movies from late 70s. The guy gave her the window seat and sat next to her.
Vrinda was so happy that she almost had teary eyes and wanted to give a hug to the unknown guy. Somehow she controlled her feelings and teardrop of waterfall.
For Vrinda now the 'Suffer ka Safar' came to an end.
But who knows whether this would be an end of suffering. Actually this was just a start of suffering for the guy.
By the way you know the guy right?
Scene 4: Magik ya tragic
'The flight took off. The amazing experience of first flight made her scream out of excitement and enthusiasm as if she herself was flying the plane.
All I wanted her to enjoy her time. I could feel it that it was her best time. All I wanted and needed that I find somebody like her. The moment was made for movie screen.', Madhav was lost in his space, it was just a fraction of second he couldn't feel the gravity.
Snap!!! Snap!!! (Vrinda interrupted)
"What happened? All okay?", she asked him.
"Nothing. Yeah! All okay!", he replied with a smile.
She held his hand with both her hands and said,"This was my first experience of flight. You rock man! Thank you so much for giving me your seat."
The plane already landed for hault and refueling at London City Airport. One of the world's busiest airport.
Well the right chords already struck when Madhav's hand were in her hands. He again lost contact with gravity.
"The moment was made for movie screen! So perfect. The speed, tummy butterflies, the horizon, the light...", she was on and on until Madhav interrupted her.
"And the touch...", he paused.
"Touch?"
"I meant the touch down of flight.", he spontaneously replied.
And they laughed.
She said,"So I guess this is it!"
"Is it?"
"Maybe!", a slow tone resisting to use such words expelled from her voice.
"Okay. Hope you enjoyed your flight?", he asked
"Definitely! I was lost in my own echoes.", she replied.
Smiling at each other they proceeded towards exit.
'All I wanted was nothing more, but to hear her knocking at my door. Cause if I could see your face once more I could live like a happy man.', while these thoughts were rumbling in Madhav's head while he was looking at her moving towards exit.
She turned back smiling at him. Gave a flying kiss and waved at him bye bye.
All that Madhav could do is smile back and wave his hands with misty eyes to say bye bye. And he did something different along with smile and bye bye.
Any guesses?
Oooohhhh ohhh (sing it like a melodious song)
He ran towards her dodging all the people and luggages. Came close to her. Smiled, gave a nice hug and said,"Thank you."
She was stunned by his actions. She asked out of curiosity,"Why thank you?"
To which he responded,"Cause you brought out the best of me. A part of me I had never seen. Felt something different along with you. Full of life. Though a routine thing for me to travel but the touch made a good spark."
"The touch down right? (Laughing) I'm super happy that I was the kickstarter of your spark plug. Which I don't know was dead for many years. You are welcome!"
They laughed and left.
The end.
Right time, right role can land you on red-carpet of 'Oscars of Life'. Luck by chance even if you are nominated by a single heart. Then you actually won the 'Lifetime Achievement Award' from 'Oscars of Life'.
By the way...they lived, loved and laughed forever. Though not together but forever.
Spreading the spark, whenever touched.
